The Hunter Motorcycle Club

News History

The Club was formed with the amalgamation of Raymond Terrace Motorcycle Club, Wallsend District Motorcycle Club, Mayfield Motorcycle Club and Newcastle Speedway Riders Club. Hunter MCC owns the Barleigh Ranch property and has conducted many events of all levels and disciplines for many years.

In 2007 an agreement was reached with MX Central allowing them to lease the property for the purpose of developing a weekend ride park complex. This along with a major refurbishment of the existing facilities commenced in October 2007. Hunter Motorcycle Club still retains the right to conduct its scheduled events throughout the year.

The Venue

Barleigh Ranch is located at the end of Killaloe Lane, off Italia Road at Eagleton, NSW. Killaloe Lane is approximately 300 metres west of the intersection of Italia Road and the Pacific Highway. The property has a variety of Motorcycling NSW licensed tracks including motocross (senior and nipper), dirt track (senior and nipper), long track, speedway (senior and junior) and stadium cross.

Events

We run both a closed to club motocross and dirt track/speedway series as well as two three open dirt track or motocross events each year.

Club General Meetings

These are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the upstairs conference room of the Wallsend Diggers Club, Tyrell Street, Wallsend at 7.30 pm. Our Annual General meeting is held in conjunction with our November General Meeting
